Going back over 100 years, the residents of Orléans Parish did their shopping on St. Joseph Blvd. With over 400 businesses located in this area today, you can still find whatever you are looking for whether it's dining, services, or shopping. Many of our businesses have been providing quality products and services for over 25 years and in many cases, it is the original owner who is still behind the counter.

The Heart of Orléans Business Improvement Area is devoted to building a stronger business community in the Heart of Orléans. Through beautification, marketing, and planning, the BIA is working on making St. Joseph Blvd. the type of main street Orléans deserves.
